When you say FS-VST's are working well on 64-bit systems ... are you using 'J-Bridge' for this ???

With some daws, like reaper, you don't even need the jbridge as it has it's own built in bridge.my releases perform great with reaper's 64bbit version with no problems. Other daws like studio one, still don't allow you to load 32bit plugins under 64bit daw as they have no built-in bridge yet, but i believe it comes very soon as its most requested feature on the forums. people affraid to loose their old projects (made with 32bit plugins) under these limitations.
so companies understand that need and will provide that basic need soon. anyway, native 64bits plug in will perform a way better than 32bit pluging under 64bit daw in most cases. better mamory\cpu usage, sometimes better sound. that tested and verified by top computer musicians.

thx jay for testing cubase 7 with jbridge, great to hear that it works fine, i had the same experience with cubase 5.5, the cubase vst bridge did work but horrible and with j bridge most stuff worked well.. its a shame for steinberg as they are the developers of vst and unable to bring a working bridge...

and what about bitwig studio afaik they support both 32 and 64 bit vsts in both versions of the host someone heard about it from some betatesters?

They do say they will run better sub normal so that's a plus, actually all the benefits.
Heard osm's do run like they are supposed to too.

no problem Nubeat7

had a visit from a well known DJ and producer m8 this morning whome i asked if he used jbridge, he said yes he never leaves home without it! he also told me that he even jbridges 32bit plugins that seem to work ok under the vst bridges in the 64bit daws he uses, he said that they often sound a lot different and are far more responsive after being jbridged!
