This is your opportunity to tell us what hardware interfaces you would like us to support in future releases of FlowStone?
Post your ideas here (please keep them short and sweet) and let's see what we can do!

my hardware + software improvement list:
support for arduino
transport control on audio and video stream modules
more than one game controller of the same type at the same time(option to get the list of available devices)
support for generic usb devices(as it happens with rs232 module)
support for popular databases
Thank you

I'd like PS3 controller support.
I like the controllers better than Wii or xbox.
Perhaps I try my hand at game making, if this is added.
Cheers Outsim, all success
Is there no MIDI in FlowStone?
I'm sure it could be added if so.
I am sending more than 30,000 bytes via Maple MIDI router, so it's a nice IO

How about:
Surveyor blackfin camera
Axon Microcontroller (society of robots)
Windows phone 7

Arduino! Many of us seem to have old projects based on various Arduino boards that could do with proper upgrading with Flowstone! Cheers

Hi All,
Flowstone Support for the dynamixel range of servos would be great. Ref:
http://www.robotis.com/xe/dynamixel_enKey thing is that you can read state based variables like force, position, velocity, temperature etc from these servos via RS485 serial and also configure PID parameters over this coms link. Flowstone driver support for these devices would open up access to these specialized devices and the associated hardware boards that are available.
So I recommend DSPRobotics have a look into this.
Cheers,
Rob D

Well, it's not exactly a hardware interface, but it is cross-program. Direct communication with programs made in Processing/Java. It would allow for more complex math while using FS for simplified access to hardware and vision processing.
You can already use Arduinos with FS using a COM port. However, it is unfortunate that you have to dedicate your only COM port in the free version. A dedicated Arduino module with an input for resetting would be nice.

some DMX interface would be great. I am in favour of folks at lanbox.com
just plug these boxes into the network and control the light via flowstone/Synthedit would be majestic...
