Re: Merry Scratchmas!
Cool device, Martin!
I like the inertia of the slider response, well done!
One thing I noticed is that zipper noise that sounds like there is dust on the pickup. I mention this because I encountered a similar phenomenon with my own scrating creation. First I thought linear interpolation was not good enough so I tried higher order, however the noise persisted. I finally tracked it down: it was a numerical issue, the result of adding to a large number (the song position) a small number (the scratching back and forth modulation). The effect was a lack of resolution, making the read index advance in audible steps, hence the zipper noise. I wonder if this could be the case with your schematic, too?

Re: Merry Scratchmas!
Martin, thanks, I bet yes, but I have no idea how to solve it - I allways built with just trial & error and a bit luck. The noizes were the reason why I added the filter which depends on the slider speed, but that's just a workaround, I guess. I added lots of dezipping, but without success...
