MDLX - Modulated delay/chorus effect

I really like chorus fx. This started out as an attempt to make one that sounded different from the other chorus units I already have. It's capable of both subtle and extreme effects (more than just chorus), and contains features to help keep it from getting that obvious "wooo-wooo" modulation.

Includes a text file with some instructions/descriptions, a VST, and a schematic file. The schematic is a bit messy... sorry about that, I tend to get carried away with building and forget to organize as I go. I'm trying to work on that.

I really love this!

It's easy to operate and the controls are thoughtfully labelled. I only had to check your text file to see what RtoMod did, everything else was easy.
I like the fact that you provided some presets to flick through to hear possibilities.
The range of effects is huge especially considering how few controls are provided; they all do something useful!
The GUI is compact and simple but looks good in my eyes.
You've provided a test environment so I could try it out instantly, always a nice touch since it saves time setting something up.

On the other hand, as you confess, the schematic is a nightmare (sorry!) It reminds me of my early attempts although I think I've improved a bit. It's well worth making tidier schematics for yourself because if you want to change something at some point in the future it's easier to remember what's going on and where. It's also very important if you want help or collaboration at any time since it will take much less effort to read. Sorry if that sounds patronising!

Very nice, it does get some really different sounds. Only spent about 20 min on it so far well get back to it later today.
The gui looks nice and is to easy to view and use. The insides remind me of my insides, but I think your are actually better. That's really something I need to work on too.

No need to apologize, I know it's scary! I swear I have good intentions, but I've allowed myself to pick up some bad habits when it comes to this kind of thing. I just start rolling along, and before you know it, I've got a mess. I say "I should clean this up before I go further", but then I never do. What you say is true though, it would be helpful even to myself to get that under control.

I too know very well how a schematic can turn nightmare.

I do so much 'experimenting/side testing' as I work to a solution needed, the result is scary

I have purposefully looked at examples posted by our GURU members, not just for their solution approach, but also to how they lay out their project. This has been very helpful to guide me into a better thought/layout process.

One key thing ... grouping a specific function into a module, and giving appropriate naming.

More often than not, I find duplicate links or UN-needed routing that were not apparent. It helped me clean up my code, reducing unwanted triggers, and actually lead to a better solution. I also have custom modules that I can reuse throughout the project or add to toolbox.

What I find .... it's not just to make the insides pretty ... but has made me better using FlowStone. Yes ... I can still make a mess at a moments notice [not just FlowStone] ... but I now have purpose to clean and organize.
