Yes, in a sound processing or generating app the most important thing is the sound!

In my view optimisation is a great idea, just as long as the sound itself isn’t compromised. For example, I would never choose a slightly inferior sounding filter just because it used half the CPU.

When I tested out this graphic eq I only used my ears, and even though I’m not capable of discerning the subtleties, I did like what I heard.

But I must say I feel a bit ashamed that I didn’t think about the lack of a preset manager so the settings could be saved with the song.

it saves presets, but I need to add an actual manager. Actually my own revised one. Should be good.

I’m sure you know this, but others may not. You need a preset manager to store settings in a DAW’s project file and also if you want to automate.
You can hide the PM from the front GUI if you like, but it needs to be inside at the top level.

It might be fun to automate the Graphic EQ settings!

yes, that's the plan. In fact I think I will make one that is more congruous than the fl studio one. Can someone (like You Spogg) tell Me the best preset manager?

I will alter that one so when a user wishes to save a preset it has a popup (like in fruity) and it will disallow certain characters. So, You chan also choose a folder and I will make a custom dropdown menu made of primitive rects (probably a bit rounded.)

It's pretty easy for Me to do because I used to do the same thing in html.

I had one manager but it would screw up sometimes

Yeah, I'm changing it to black. But I thought I might take MV's advice with the treble's bands. The TDF2 If I remember right.

I wanted to point out that I've been working on a new version of this equalizer. This one works about the same, the old version does have a nice colour except that I found some old peaks optimized by Michael Benjamin Voigt as well as Infuzion. I guess it's a 2'nd by MJ?

I had'nt heard of an MJ, but I guess He/She was prolific on the synthmaker scene, At any rate, the new version is at 0.4% CPU with all 15 bands operating.

I thought that was big news for people who want a staple EQ.
