For something completely different.. I had this rather simple oberheim OB8 type counter going to do poly voice managment. As simple as triggering a new voice for each next note.

yea well this one..

Exo wrote:Regarding the writing I tried removing the skip stuff but that messed the phases up so I put it back. Currently the gate input is ensuring that the phases are only written while the note is held, which is working ok for what we are doing. Currently not entirely sure why the gate would be needed, when a voice stops it should just stop writing, at least in theory.

I managed to take away the skip and gate parts, however now the buffer only works when the voicetag or index is not 0 (so now i simply have the trigger counter connected to the voiceID). Perhaps you can find out why its causing this.

Finished this now with the help of the latest release, so requires 3.0.5 Amber to work.
Uses the new channelID added to the Voices to Poly.

Get it now on Flowstone Guru!

It sounds great! well, as long as FS doesn't crush...

Tested it right now. FS crushed after changing a wavetable two times. and the weird thing is there was now preset manager inside the schematic. This release really smells so far :(
Any news about the fix, exo?

This hasn't crashed for me so far. When you say changing a wavetable what do you mean? changing the main osc? or are you feeding this into a "wave table read" component and then changing the mem? (wavetable)

An example schematic would help.

Hadn't changed anything in the schematic other then using the asio out module instead of ds sound module. The crash occurs when changing from "sine" to "saw" for instace, or any other, while playing.

Yes I can recreate that.

Can you delete the "Channel Reader 16" module and tell me if it still crashes?

Once I remove that it is no longer crashing here.

*Edit* it does still crash but only after a few goes....
