Hey tiffy,

isn't this a perfect example of what I talked about in the off-topic thread? 31 downloads and no comment...

Hi Tiffy,

I finally had a chance to try out your posted schematic.

This is a very handy GUI utility .... Thanks !

But I gots a question :o

I see you've put a Tick25 clock tied to the 'KEY' of the PRESS prim

The prim has a 'CHECK' connection ... so now I'm confused :?

I know your design is working fine ... but I don't understand why.

Side Note: Sometimes it takes me a while to get to testing some of the posted schematics that I've downloaded. When I get some free moments to myself, I try to go back into the collected 'stash' ... during that time between, I'm always following the conversation thread.

For me ... the posted schematics are great to see ... but the conversation/discussion that goes on between you guys is maybe more valuable for long term learning.

It still will be some time before I'll be able to focus in on some of my projects that I'd like to do ... which is kinda frustrating ... the moving deadline is approaching, and gets overwhelming.

anyway ... would like to better understand the logic you designed for this.

Thanks Guys !!
8-)

You may just as well connect the ticker to the "Check" pins.
