Old Radio

Here's a novelty for you! It looks like an old radio and sounds like one too.

808 Tambourine

One-trick pony to synthesise an electronic tambourine. The decay settings also allow for a decent Hi-Hat too.
Simple and sounds good.

MIDI learn and help tips display system

This system, built into an example module by the author, allows for hovering the mouse over any control and getting a help text in a single readout box. Alternatively if you click on the MIDI learn button you can then select the control for MIDI learn and operate your Controlloer to map the selected control. This system is presented inside the module in a very professional and easy to follow manner with several comment boxes.

Spogged:
Copied the instructions to the top level.
Note that I haven't tested the MIDI learn function because I don't have a suitable controller, just a basic MIDI keyboard with no knobs or drum pads. So if someone can test this and post the result it would be nice.

Synthmaker WIKI: Tutorials and more

This is the old WIKI from the Synthmaker site. It contains a wealth of information ideally suited to the beginner.
Most of the content here will be valid for Flowstone (which contains more, including Ruby).
The tutorials and component references are excellent.
The user examples section is interesting but of course the links to download them are dead. However there are lots of screenshots for inspiration as well as information.
Although the WIKI is incomplete it is huge and I think it makes a great starting point

Circle for mouse actions

The circle is scaled to the View area and the module provides for mouse hover output within the circle and mouse outputs for inside and outside the circle.

Spogged:
2 mouse left-click Prims provided for demo and testing.

Scaleable digital displays

Here are 2 brilliant digital readout displays. You get a dot-matrix LED and a 7 segment LED display.
The displays are scaleable to the View size. You can set the amount of digits and the decimal point.
You can set the background, on and off colours to anything.

Spogged:
Provided a knob for demo.
Changed their labels to suit my toolbox.
Selected different colours to test; red and green. They were originally set to white and grey. I resisted the temptation to set orange

EDIT 20.1.16: version 3 below is more recent and has added notes by Trogluddite.

SK1 Sampler with timestretch

This is so clever and great fun to fool around with.
You record a sample using your MIDI keyboard to set the base pitch. The recording can then be immediately played polyphonically across the keyboard just like in the old days with the Fairlight CMI (not that I ever owned one!).
There is a mode switch so you can choose normal replay or timestretch. Also the bit-depth effect can be selected for vintage or modern (2010!).
The author has provided detailed operating instructions so I won't repeat them here.

I'm really enjoying this panning for gold and now I've found a diamond, a real gem!
Get your dog barking
