You mean Martin's synth :!: ;)

Or, were you referring to Throttle?

Here's a version without the effects, in a vintage-style GUI.

Plug it into MVerb 7B - beautiful :P. I'm a bit puzzled as to why this, Martin's randomOsc4 and randomOsc 8 / Randy aren't getting more buzz around here; they produce such beautiful, natural sounds in fascinatingly mysterious ways. :P :o :) They need to be played with a velocity keyboard to be fully appreciated. If you just run these with a sequencer you'll miss 3/4 of the magic.

UPDATE 6/9: Semitone control can toggle to free tune, so multiple instances can be detuned against each other.

With FS 3.0.8.1

Martin pick a GUI for Karplus synth

Postby EddieSSpila » Sat Jun 08, 2019 11:56 pm

Thank you greatly for this plugin. I have tried it with 3DStudio MAX 8.

At first it gives me troubles but i have found that i need to flip polygons faces in order to work propertly with newton I am using DX. Just simple
model with about 300 polygons no intersection.

Does anybody else have expirienced this?

Belfegor.

You know, in all these years using SM/FS, I never once thought of flipping my polygon's faces as a way of fixing an errant plugin - what an amazing stroke of genius! :ugeek:

@martinvicanek
As for you, you sly devil - it was very selfish of you to unlock the secrets of FlowStone's hidden AutoCAD compatible 3D modelling features without telling us!

[moderator note]
I just can't resist keeping this one because it's the funniest bit of spam I've seen for ages! :D

By the way, Wikipedia has this to say about Belphegor...

Brilliant!

You know, when I started to read your comment I thought “Oh wow, trog’s fallen for a spam post!”
Then I started to try and understand what you were saying, because I thought it must be me who didn’t understand the terminology.

Finally I got it and burst out laughing.

I must admit, as a bit of an amateur linguist, I do find the ones that try to fit the forum's context quite fascinating. Other posts by the same "member" had obviously picked up on keywords like "plugin" and "sequencer". It's not always easy to say whether they are clever AI coding, a bizarre form of trolling, or some poor soul slaving away in a "web-content farm". Turing Test FAIL, all the same!

I’ve had one or two borderline cases myself. It’s more difficult for me to judge if it’s about Robotics. If I’m really unsure I allow it, and keep an eye on the poster and topic.

Maybe it would be a good idea to PM the poster for clarification. I just had that idea!

Cheers
